SACI begins distance learning courses for the remainder of Spring 2020 Term.
For the remainder of Spring 2020 Term, SACI is implementing distance learning for our undergraduate and graduate students with the help of our outstanding faculty and staff. In a video message to Spring 2020 students (below), SACI President Steven Brittan outlines details of this transition and expectations for the upcoming weeks.
Thanks to the hard work of SACI's Distance Learning Team led by Bruno Spinazzola, and with the enthusiastic cooperation of faculty and students, SACI has converted to a distance learning program with classes beginning Monday, March 16 after the Midterm Break. Our faculty and staff have been working around the clock to make this possible, using a variety of online tools, providing tutorials, holding frequent or periodic live interactions, setting up "virtual" office hours, and presenting live class-based assignments and activities.
We are thankful for the understanding and support coming from everyone in our community during this time, and will continue to do everything we can to assure our students have a positive experience throughout the remainder of the term.
