On March 9, SACI hosted a preview event for the upcoming symposium on Caravaggio entitled Evidence Caravaggio (Evidenza Caravaggio).
The presentation, held in SACI's Palazzo dei Cartelloni, was open to all and was followed by a reception with Umbrian products offered by CEDOCUP and Slow Food Umbria. The panel of speakers included Steven Brittan, SACI President; Fernanda Cecchini, Assessore alla Cultura, Regione Umbria; Letizia Michelini, Mayor of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina; Massimo Gazzarri, President Emeritus of the Monte Santa Maria Tiberina Research Center; Antonio Vignali, Art/Advisory; and Roberta Lapucci, Scientific Curator of the Symposium and SACI Conservation Area Head.
The symposium itself will be held on October 6-7, at Monte Santa Maria Tiberina (PG) in cooperation with Libera Accademia di Studi Caravaggeschi Francesco Maria Cardinal del Monte. Learn more about the upcoming symposium.
