SACI Conservation Students Present Restored Works in the SACI Gallery

SACI conservation students present restored works in the SACI Gallery in Florence

Students in conservation courses at SACI presented their work in a final exhibition held in the SACI Gallery at Palazzo dei Cartelloni on April 5, 2019. Led by instructors Dr. Roberta LapucciNora Marosi, and Alice Parri, students worked both individually and in groups throughout the past semester and year to restore various paintings and objects for Italian cultural heritage organizations and other institutions.

Some students also had the exciting opportunity to work with the U.S. Consulate of Florence to preserve two paintings, Still Life and Landscape, for the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Consulate’s presence in the city. Learn more about the project.
