Congratulations to SACI's 2019 MA in Art History Graduates!
On July 25th, the SACI community convened in the center of Florence to celebrate the 2019 MA Commencement Ceremony for the graduates of the MA in Art History program.
The commencement ceremony was held at the Sala Ferragamo - Harold Acton Library at the British Institute of Florence, the oldest overseas British cultural institute in the world. Many family members and friends of the graduates were in attendance, as well as SACI students, staff, faculty, and board members.
The ceremony began with a welcome from SACI President Steven Brittan. Maria Antonia Rinaldi, the MA in Art History Program Director, then offered reflections on the graduating students and their diverse fields of research. Following these reflections, Fabrizio Ricciardelli, Ph.D., History Professor and Director at Kent State University Florence Center, delivered the keynote speech.
SACI President Steven Brittan then awarded the degrees to the 2019 graduates, followed by a reception.
