Highlights from the November 2018 Edition of SACI Graduate Open Studios

Our latest edition of Open Studios offered the public the opportunity to explore the inspiring spaces in the Jules Maidoff Palazzo for the Visual Arts, a fully renovated Renaissance palace in the center of Florence. Visitors were able to wander through the many graduate studios housed on the first and third floors while discovering artwork of various mediums within a maze of creativity. The event presented a unique chance to engage in dialogue with emerging international artists and designers.

Participants included students in the MFA in Studio ArtMFA in Photography, MFA in Communication Design, and Post-Bac in Studio Art programs at SACI. Students presented a wide variety of artwork using exciting methods such as live drawing, video projections, and immersive installations. Visitors also had a chance to speak with the MFA and Post-Bac program directors.

If you weren’t able to make it to Graduate Open Studios, check out images from the event and stay tuned for more information on the next edition. We hope you’ll join us next time to explore SACI’s inspiring spaces, speak with the artists, and learn more about their research.
