MFA Video Interviews
To learn more about their journey in the MFA programs at SACI, we interviewed each of our graduating students during the spring for the 2020 MFA Video Interviews. We asked: How would you describe your work? How has your work changed from when you first arrived at SACI? What has it been like developing your research in Florence? The resulting video presents an in-depth look at the practices of these seven international artists, photographers, and designers. Hear their heartfelt testimonies about this once-in-a-lifetime journey of artistic and personal growth.
MFA Exhibition Catalog
Though the 2020 SACI MFA Final Exhibition at Frittelli Arte Contemporanea Gallery in Florence could not be held as scheduled, we are proud to bring you MMXX – The Year of Change, an expanded virtual exhibition catalog presenting thesis works by the 2020 graduates of the MFA in Studio Art, Photography, and Communication Design programs.
Complete with opening texts by SACI President Steven Brittan and the MFA program directors - Camilla Torna, Kirsten Stromberg, Romeo Di Loreto, and Jacopo Santini - critical texts by established artists and designers who have acted as mentors to these graduates, and extensive interviews of the MFA graduates conducted by students in the MA in Art History program, the expanded MMXX - The Year of Change catalog delves into the research and bodies of work developed throughout these two-years at SACI in Florence.
In addition to our virtual version, the printed catalog is a limited edition box set of seven individual artist catalogs.
