Studios

SACI Studios

SACI’s fully-equipped classroom studios are used for courses in Fine Arts, Design, and Conservation. Our graduate students are provided with dedicated studio space in SACI’s Jules Maidoff Palazzo for the Visual Arts, open from 9 am-midnight, 7 days per week.

SACI Classroom Studios

Classes are held in SACI’s fully-renovated Renaissance palazzi in the heart of Florence’s historic center. Our classroom studios will enable you to pursue creative work  ˗̶ ranging from foundation-level to advanced, traditional to cutting-edge  ˗̶  in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography, Video, Digital Multimedia, Animation, Design, & Conservation. Additional crafts studios near the school will provide you with opportunities to learn Weaving, Serigraphy, Batik, and Jewelry Design.

SACI Graduate Student Studios

As a student in SACI's graduate programs in Studio Art, Communications Design, or Photography, you will be assigned your own studio space in one of several rooms in our Jules Maidoff Palazzo reserved exclusively for our Post-Bac and MFA students. Your studio will be your home away from home, a place in which you will be encouraged by SACI faculty members to discover and explore pathways that are fully your own.

Students in the MA in Art History program are allotted study space down the hall from the SACI Worthington Library in SACI’s main building, the Palazzo dei Cartelloni.
