Teaching Philosophy
My work investigates relationships among nature, art, and technology. Human/machine interaction and artificial vision fascinate me. I use computational approaches to create art and design work drawn from the inspiration I find in physical phenomena. When teaching, I train and encourage students to utilize open-source software to explore the expressive potential of creative coding, generative design, and computational design.
