Wednesday, March 9 at 5:00 pm ~ Exhibition Opening (in the Palazzo Vecchio, Sala d’Arme): ARTCLASH 2016 Abbattere Muri / Costruire Ponti. Artworks of students at US programs in Florence, including selected SACI graduate students Amaan Aslam, Ben Garst, Ana Lìa Orézzoli, Keri Rosebraugh, and Hana Sackler. Exhibition extends through March 11 and is in conjunction with the Tuscan Anglo American Festival.

ArtClash is an inter-academic project that results in a collective exhibition of art works inspired by the thought of Giorgio La Pira, "Peace in the world." Students from the US and other nationalities from various institutions and programs in Florence that teach art. The inauguration takes place at 5pm in the presence of Mayor Dario Nardella; the Vice Mayor of Florence and Councillor for Education, University and Research, Giachi Cristina; the Director of CSU, Mary Caputi; the CSU Coordinator, Marsha Steinberg and Critic, Rolando Bellini.
